My Design Journey

My path to design started long before I opened Blue Mountain Creative. After graduating with the highest honors in Interior Design in 2014, I began my career in Kansas City, where I specialized in kitchen design, space planning, and cabinetry selection. Working with a local renovation company taught me how great design begins with great collaboration — between homeowner, designer, and craftsman.

When I relocated to Colorado, I fell in love with the mountain lifestyle and the artistry of local craftsmanship. I shifted my focus toward flooring design and home renovations, helping homeowners create spaces that blend modern comfort with natural, mountain-inspired warmth.

Over a decade later, I’ve helped clients transform everything from compact kitchens to full home remodels — balancing functionality, flow, and beauty with an eye for the details that make a house feel like home.

I launched Blue Mountain Creative to offer something different from the typical design firm — a hands-on, transparent, and collaborative design experience.
